If you like little credit-card sized powerful smartphones, you may be veering to the HP Veer, a webOS smartphone that we call the Mini-Pre, that goes on sale today from AT&T.
The HP Veer has been called very cute, pocketable and functional.
The HP Veer's keyboard slides out, and it also has a touchscreen. The ads say "Small is the next big thing." The next biggest smartphone, however, is the Samsung Infuse with a huge 4.5-inch touchscreen that also goes on sale today.
The HP Veer has an 800MHz processor, a 2.57-inch glass display, 8
gigabytes (GB) of internal user storage, mobile hotspots, HTML browser
with Adobe Flash Player 10.1 beta, Wi-Fi, integrated GPS, Bluetooth,
messaging, and a 910mAh battery.
Multimedia options include
music, photos, video recording and playback, and a 5-megapixel camera.
It will be sold exclusively by AT&T for $99 with a contract.
