HTC News: Best Buy HTC EVO 3D Preorders - But Don't Tell Unless Asked

EVO 3D presales.JPGBest Buy employees leak lots of information to the media, and today someone spilled the HTC EVO 3D beans.

In an internal yellow-highlighted memo, Best Buy team members were informed that Best Buy is "quietly opening the Sprint HTC EVO 3D presale."

Then employees were told what they can and cannot say.  They can only say that the HTC EVO 3D will be coming in the summer.  They can't say anything coming from "blogs and unofficial" sources because "much of this is unreliable and could mislead the customers."
Starting May 2, Best Buy employees can take reservations for the HTC EVO 3D but can't actively promote the presale ot it until it is formally announced.  The offer is only for those who ask about the HTC EVO 3D.  Then the associates can tell about the offers.

The HTC EVO 3D has a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor and dual 5-megapixel cameras, which can be used to capture both conventional and 3D images and videos.  Features include a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 3G/4G mobile hotspots, Google Voice for Sprint, 4GB Internal memory/1GB RAM, microSD slot (supports up to 32GB memory card), Wi-Fi, Stereo Bluetooth, GPS, DLNA, HDMI port and 1730mAh Lithium-ion battery.
