If you really want to buy an HTC EVO 3D, you can now go into any Sprint retail store to reserve one by purchasing a $50 gift card. Previously, it was revealed that Best Buy would only accept preorders when customers asked.
Last year, when the HTC EVO 4G went on sale, it sold out, and preorder customers were able to pick them up easily on its release date. Currently, there is no price or release date for the HTC EVO 3D. However, original announcements suggested a summer release. The sign-up page says, "coming this summer."
The HTC EVO 3D has a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core
processor and dual 5-megapixel cameras, which can be used to capture
both conventional and 3D images and videos. Features include a
1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 3G/4G mobile hotspots, Google Voice
for Sprint, 4GB Internal memory/1GB RAM, microSD slot (supports up to
32GB memory card), Wi-Fi, Stereo Bluetooth, GPS, DLNA, HDMI port and
1730mAh Lithium-ion battery.
The HTC EVO 3D is one of a few dual-core processor smartphones that will ship with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It appears on our list of the Top Best Android an' Droid Smartphones Now an' Later.
