The LG Genesis gives users two touchscreens - one on the outside and one on the inside to use with a QWERTY keyboard. It has a June 9 release date at U.S. Cellular.
LG Genesis runs Froyo 2.2 Android platform running on a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8650 processor, is Wi-Fi hotspot capable, and comes with an 8GB microSD card.
Users can input lightning-fast messages on the 3.5-inch touchscreen, using Swype technology on a virtual QWERTY keyboard, or can text hands-free using voice.
The internal 3.2-inch touchscreen is paired with a wide, slide-out keyboard that also makes typing quick and easy.
A built-in 5.0 megapixel camera and 32GB of storage makes snapping
and sharing pictures of family and friends in high or low light a breeze
with auto focus and zoom functions.
The LG Genesis costs $149.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate. Purchase of a data plan is required, and a new two-year agreement and activation fee may apply.
