Sprint announced a Droid-Pro-like Motorola XPRT world Android 2.2 smartphone that has a QWERTY keyboard with a June 5 release date.
The Motorola XPRT features a high-resolution 3.1-inch HVGA display, a 1GHz processor, Microsoft Exchange sync, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 5-megapixel camera with camcorder and dual LED flash, a 3GB microSD card included, and a 1860mAh battery.
The Motorola XPRT is geared toward business with enterprise-class security and data encryption. The Motorola XPRT also offers the latest version of Motorola's MOTOBLUR social and media UI personalization. It also enables the user to view and respond to news feeds, updates, and messages without the need to separately access social media sites.The Motorola XPRT comes loaded with Quickoffice for viewing Microsoft Office files, device encryption, multi-headed VPN, and EAS security policy support, including device and SD card wipe, out of the box.
The Motorola XPRT will be available on Sunday, June 5, for $129.99 with a new line or eligible upgrade and a two-year service agreement.
