Mo' Mobile Payers, Mo' Feel Naked Without Them - A study by Kelton Research shows 62 percent of Americans who
use a mobile phone would be open to using their device to make purchases
wherever their errands may take them.
According to the study, 63 percent of consumers aged 18-34 would be at ease
using mobile phones to make purchases, versus those aged 35 or older (37
percent). Consumers aged 18-34 (65 percent) feel more naked without their phones
than their wallets, compared to 34 percent of those in the 35 and
older group.
Amazon Gives Gift Cards 4 Trade-in Cell Phone - Amazon has expanded its trade-in program to include cell phones, smartphones, GPS units, tablets, cameras, and MP3 players. Trade--in-values range depending on item and condition.
Amazon Sells More Kindle than Print Books - Since April 1, for every 100 print books Amazon.com has sold, it has
sold 105 Kindle books. Amazon sold more than 3 times as many Kindle books so far in 2011 as it did
during the same period in 2010. Recently, Amazon launched a cheaper version of the Kindle Wi-Fi eReader, called Amazon Kindle with Special Offers, for $114 with screensaver ads by Amazon partners.

Percentage of Mobile Giving for Japan & Haiti - Although total donations collected by text donations for the Japan earthquake and tsunami victims were less across the board compared with Haiti, the percentage of funds raised via mobile remained virtually constant when compared to the total funds raised. Mobile donations accounted for 8 percent of the total donations made to Japan, and 8.3 percent of the total donations raised for Haiti.
