AT&T Sells Pet & People Tracker
- AT&T will sell the Garmin GTU 10.  The GTU 10 is a small, waterproof device that attaches to a backpack or pet collar, so customers can track them.  It cost $199.99, which includes one year of Standard Tracking.

LG Apex Updated to Froyo - US Cellular is updating the LG Apex to Android 2.2 Froyo.  The update improves browsing with faster download speeds and updates to the Android Market.  It adds hotspots (requires a tethering plan), Adobe Flash 10.1 support, and fully integrated support for Microsoft Exchange.

4G Conference Program Revealed - Yankee Group today released the conference program for its 4G World Conference and Expo in Chicago from October 24-27.  The four-day conference program includes more than 200 speakers and industry leader keynotes.

AT&T Will Pay a High Price for T-Mobile - If AT&T's $39 billion acquisition of T-Mobile does not get approved, AT&T will have to pay spectrum and roaming agreements worth a total of $6 billion, according to Reuters.
