With only one day warning, Verizon Wireless has officially announced that the LG Revolution release date will be tomorrow, May 26, online and in Verizon Wireless stores.
The LG Revolution will be the third 4G LTE smartphone launched on the Verizon network and also the third smartphone to go on sale tomorrow, along with the Droid X2 and Sony Xperia Play.
The news release promotes that the LG Revolution will come with Netflix as well as HDMI output and SmartShare capability to share multimedia content with HDMI-capable displays.
The LG Revolution costs $249.99 with a contract and data plan.
As we reported previously, the LG Revolution has
a 4.3-inch touchscreen, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, DivX
compatibility, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot
capabilities (8 connections), and a microSD card slot.
Other features of the LG Revolution include recording/playing
1080p HD video, a rear-facing, 5-megapixel camera, a front-facing camera
for video conferencing, added-on LG user interface and Bing search.
