Today, we launch a new feature to be published on Saturdays, "Wimonews App Rapport."  We will develop a deeper rapport with new apps and updated apps for iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Phone, Android an' Droid smartphones.

Adobe Flash Player 10.3 More Flashy

Adobe has released Adobe Flash Player 10.3 for Android, BlackBerry Tablet and HP webOS.  The smartphone version offers performance improvements, virtual keyboard text input, sleep timer, and out-of-memory management.  Tablets running Android 3.1 get hardware-accelerated H.264 decoding and the ability to show text and Flash animations on the same page.

Android an' Droid Movies

The Netflix app for Android lets you watch TV shows and movies streaming for subscribers of Netflix unlimited.  You can resume watching where you left off on your TV or computer.  Browse movies and manage your Instant Queue directly from your phone.  Due to digital rights management, the app only runs on the Nexus S, HTC Incredible, Nexus One, Evo 4G and G2.

IPhone Poised for Poisoning Prevention

California Poison Control System launched a free iPhone app, "Choose Your Poison," now available at the Apple app store.  A Spanish version is also available, but the user's phone must be set for Spanish.  The game is fun, interactive, and underscores an important poisoning prevention message - that medications can easily be mistaken for candy.

Android eReader Tablet Update

Nook for Android eReading app update offers an optimized library grid view with enhanced book margins and line spacing, as well as an improved shopping experience, and more.  The new app features are available for popular 7-inch and larger tablets using Android OS 2.1 and higher (Honeycomb).

Android and iPhone Office

Group Contracts with DejaOffice - DejaOffice offers a new grouping feature to organize contact data.  You can sort contacts by category, company name, city, or ZIP code.  Business users who travel a lot will especially appreciate this tool as a way to quickly find people in their address book who are near them.

DejaOffice is currently a free app on the Android Market and iTunes.

Greeting for iPhone, BlackBerry Android an' Droid

HulloMail offers a greeting feature on its HulloMail SmartVoicemail app.  It gives users the freedom to record and assign personalized greetings to any number of contacts; perfect if you want family to get a different greeting than your work colleagues.  HulloMail's services offer a quick and easy way to manage, send, receive and share voicemails, and with the new Hullo feature, provides free, instant voice messaging to mobile and email.  The free version is advertising-supported.

iOS Printing App

Printing to any printer from an iOS device is now a reality with PrintCentral Pro v2.0.  Customers can print directly to most wireless printers, to all printers via a Mac/PC or now using Google Cloud Print.
