T-Mobile announced, via its Twitter page, that the Samsung Exhibit 4G (SGH-T759
) and Samsung Gravity Touch Smart will have a June 22 release date. These affordable budget-friendly "cheap" Android smartphones pack a lot power for the price.
Meanwhile, the super smartphone, the HTC Sensation 4G, goes on sale today and is already back-ordered.
Samsung Exhibit 4G features Android
2.3 Gingerbread, a 1GHz processor, Samsung Media Hub, a 3.5-inch touchscreen, 3MP
camera/camcorder, a front-facing camera with Qik preloaded, Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth, GPS, a 1500mAh battery, tethering capabilities, microSD slot,
Wi-Fi calling and Wi-Fi. It comes in black and purple. The price is
expected to be below $80.
The Samsung Gravity Smart has
a QWERTY keyboard with a 3.2-inch touchscreen, a 3MP camera, very berry red
color, USB tethering, GPS, mobile hotspots, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi calling,
Android 2.2, and a 1500mAh battery. The price may go as low as $29.99 with a
contract.
