Droid Beats iPhone & Mobile Email Beats Coffee, Says Manta Survey

The Manta SMB Nation Survey found interesting facts about small-business mobile phone/device use with the Droid beating out both BlackBerry and iPhone.

Survey Results Showed:

  • Most of those surveyed stated they use "other mobile phone" (385) followed by Droid, iPhone, BlackBerry, iPad and other tablets.
  • The first thing that almost 40 percent of business professionals do after
    meeting a prospect or customer is to add their contact information into
    their mobile device.
  • The majority of business professionals
    (69%) say it's now more important than ever that information
    about their business be found easily via a mobile device.
  • Almost
    one-third (29%t) of business professionals use their mobile
    device for business at least once an hour, and 4 in 10 access apps from
    their mobile device for business 2-3 times per day.
  • Thirty-two percent of SMBs
    are checking email on their mobile device first thing in the morning,
    as compared to 31 percent brushing their teeth and 23 percent having
    their cup of coffee.
  • Almost all business professionals (73%) said they work remotely while on vacation, checking work
    email/documents from their mobile device.
