While at Uplinq, we were able to record a video demonstration of the HTC Sensation 4G and the HTC EVO 3D using an HTC EVO 3D.
The video shows the snappy, animated HTC Sense with a flying carousel of home screens, customizable lock screen and HTC Watch.
We recorded it in regular video from an HTC EVO 3D with no special light or settings. As you can see, the video and audio quality is very good. What you can't see is 3D. Here's something eyeglass wearers should note. You have to be wearing the glasses that correct your vision for the distance you view the EVO 3D to see it in 3D. For example, our editor, who wears different driving (distance) and reading (near) glasses, had to wear her reading glasses to see the 3D because she has an astigmatism. Without her glasses, she couldn't see the three-dimensional aspect of the video.
Both the HTC Sensation and HTC EVO 3D have a curved back coated with a non-stick, non-smudge coating. The cases are metal and feel solid. The coating is very similar to the Teflon coating of the HTC Nexus One.
HTC's Mike Ludden goes through all the major features of each of the dual-core HTC Sense 3.0 smartphones.
He also shows how quickly everything loads and works. HTC Sense has many new animated widgets. Unfortunately, we mistakenly copied a great demo of the HTC Flyer that we are trying to get from HTC.
The HTC Sensation 4G has a 4.3-inch qHD (960 x 540) touchscreen
