Leaked documents show that the HTC EVO 4G is expected to get an update to Android 2.3 on Monday, June 6.
Last week, Sprint updated its website and said that the new HTC EVO 4G smartphones will ship with Android 2.3.
The update includes the download manager, SMS bug fixes, battery improvements and Gmail Fox synching on multiple accounts.
From the main
menu, Tap Menu> Tap Settings> Tap System
updates> Tap HTC Software update> Tap Check Now> Tap OK> Tap Yes.
The Gingerbread Android 2.3 update includes user-interface refinements,
one-touch copy/paste, better power management, VoIP, download
management, audio effects, new media format support, and multiple-camera
access.
