Leaked photos show an AT&T-branded HTC ChaCha with some rearranged buttons and 3G data connectivity and a dedicated Facebook key.
Previous leaked documents and filed FCC documents suggest a release date around July 17.
The HTC ChaCha has Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth, memory expandable up to 32GB via a
microSD slot, and a unique tilt design and QWERTY
keyboard. It features
dual cameras, including a 5-megapixel color camera with autofocus, LED
flash, and a VGA front-facing camera. The ChaCha has a 2.6-inch,
480 x 320
resolution touchscreen, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and HTC Sense.
Because of the features, we suspect that it will be marketed to social-savvy teens and
twenty-somethings.
