HTC has filed a second HTC Sensation with the FCC, and this time it looks like the dual-core smartphone will be destined for AT&T with GSM 850/1900MHz spectrum specs.
Reports note that although the specs could be for the same smartphone using the AT&T network, this HTC Sensation could be unlocked and sold at full price, not necessarily branded and supported by AT&T. It would add another super dual-core processor smartphone to AT&T's now-discounted Motorola Atrix.
The HTC Sensation was previously known as the Pyramid PG58110. FCC documents were filed last month. FCC documents generally are filed about a month or less before the release date of a smartphone. For instance, the HTC EVO 3D documents were filed with the FCC on June 2, and it will be released on June 24.
If there is going to be an AT&T-compatible HTC Sensation or Pyramid, it could theoretically have a July release date. View our sneak-peak video of the HTC Sensation 4G.
