While at Uplinq here in San Diego, we were able to see some demos of the HTC Sensation 4G and the new HTC Sense. Hopefully, we'll get videos of its demos on Thursday.
It was announced this morning that the HTC Sensation is expected to be available from T-Mobile on June 15.
We're also getting some fun tips from the reps. We were able to have video chat with an HTC Flyer, HTC ThunderBolt and HTC Sensation 4G.
The home screens swirl around like a carousel. The description of the UX (user experience) is highly animated. You can choose an app for your lockscreen so that you don't have to unlock it to view the app.
The HTC Sensation has very fast speeds with no lagging.
The weather wallpaper shows the sky with animated weather forecasts.
The HTC Watch interface is
easy to navigate to watch videos. The widgets are
multilayered.
The HTC reps didn't know if it would ship with an unlocked bootloader.
The HTC Sensation 4G has a 4.3-inch qHD (960 x 540) touchscreen
(16:9 aspect ratio), a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor,
an 8-megapixel camera
with 1080 video capture, 1GB of internal storage, microSD slot, 768MB
of RAM, a 1520 mAh battery, FM radio, GPS, Wi-Fi, Hi-Fi audio and
Bluetooth.
For video viewing, it offers DLNA support and a micro-USB port that can
be adapted to HDMI. There is a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
