T-Mobile announced that the HTC Sensation 4G is expected to have a June 15 release date and will sell for $199.99 after a $50 rebate. There is now a landing page for the HTC Sensation 4G. It is expected to be available as early as June 12 at some Wal-Marts.
Many are waiting for this sensation smartphone because it has a dual-core processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. T-Mobile has preinstalled media apps, such as HTC Watch, HTC Listen, Slacker Radio, T-Mobile TV, and Qik video chat.
The HTC Sensation 4G has a 4.3-inch qHD (960 x 540) touchscreen
(16:9 aspect ratio), a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor,
an 8-megapixel camera
with 1080 video capture, 1GB of internal storage, microSD slot, 768MB
of RAM, a 1520 mAh battery, FM radio, GPS, Wi-Fi, Hi-Fi audio and
Bluetooth.
For video viewing, it offers DLNA support and a micro-USB port that can
be adapted to HDMI. There is a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
It's not clear yet whether it will come with an unlocked bootloader,
since HTC CEO Peter Chou only recently announced that HTC would unlock bootloaders.

- Slacker Radio - Free personalized radio with over 150 genre stations and the ability to create your own stations.
