HTC EVO View 4G, the first 4G tablet, will be available for $399.99 on June 24 and comes with a free HTC Scribe digital pen ($79.99 value) with a two-year contract.
HTC EVO View 4G has a 7-inch touchscreen, 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor and the latest
version of HTC Sense. It is essentially an HTC Flyer with 3G and 4G access from Sprint.
The HTC EVO View 4G will launch with an Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and will be updated to Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) when
it is available for a 7-inch tablet. It's touted as a combination
e-reader, media player and portable computing device.
The HTC EVO View 4G features dual-cameras (5MP rear/1.3MP front),
32GB memory onboard, a 4000 mAh battery, mobile hotspots, microSD slot,
GPS, and Bluetooth.
Rate plans for the HTC EVO View start as low as $34.99 per month for
3GB of 3G data and unlimited 4G data usage while on the Sprint network.
Unlimited text, picture and video messaging are included at no charge.
Additional plans, including 3G-only plans, are available.
The HTC EVO View will be released the same day as the HTC EVO 3D.
