According to Computer World, Verizon confirmed that it will start selling the Samsung Function sometime in July, but there is no date, just yet. The super smartphone is also called the Samsung Galaxy S II Function. We don't know if it will be a 4G LTE smartphone.
The most-coveted features of the super smartphone are the dual-core 1.2GHz processor and a 4.3" Super AMOLED touchscreen.
Computer World did not get any comment from AT&T or Sprint that the names are expected to be the Samsung Galaxy S2 Attain and Samsung Galaxy S2 Within.
The Samsung Function, Attain and Within features include a better battery life, voice commands,
NFC, an 8MP camera/camcorder (1080 HD), Bluetooth,
Samsung TouchWhiz UI, a 1GB RAM on board, 16GB/32G
MicroSD (up to 32GB), A-GPS, and DLNA AllShare.
Samsung Korea announced that global preorders for the Gingerbread dual-core Samsung Galaxy S II reached three million by the end of April.
Samsung media features are the Social Hub, Readers Hub, Game Hub and
Music Hub. A new feature is Kies air for transfer of files over Wi-Fi.
Samsung is touting its voice-command functions in two commercials highlighting Voice Talk. See the videos below.
