While the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is getting preorders from Verizon Wireless, the seven-inch Sprint Samsung Galaxy Tab will be getting an update to Android 2.3 Gingerbread on July 5.
The update was revealed in leaked documents that show, along with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, that the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be getting HID Bluetooth functionality.
New Gingerbread features include download management, better on-screen
keyboard with multi-touch/auto-correction, improved cut/paste, icons,
app groups, updated
calendar options, security features, camera improvements, and improved
