Sprint Ups Uplinks on WiMAX 50% Increase, No Release Date Yet

According to Phone Scoop, Sprint spokesperson Stephanie Vinge emailed them that upload speeds available on the Sprint  WiMAX network will be increased.

She said,
"Soon the uplink speed cap on all existing Sprint dual mode and single
mode 4G mobile devices will be increased from 1.0 to 1.5 Mbps.  Customers
may notice uplink speeds as much as 50% faster after the speed cap is
raised.  We haven't stated a specific date this will take place."
Sprint made two new announcements today.  Sprint announced the Motorola Photon with a summer relase date and the Virgin Mobile Motorola Triumph.

We reviewed reviews of 4G speeds for the major networks, and Sprint received 4Gs out of 5Gs.  Verizon Wireless had the the highest rating with 5Gs out of 5Gs.
