Previously, Verizon was going to end its free mobile-hotspot offer for the Awesome 4G-Threesome (HTC ThunderBolt, Samsung Droid Charge and LG Revolution) on June 15 and has now extended the free offer until July 7.
There is no word yet on what Verizon will eventually charge for the mobile hotspot service. On July 6, a software update will remove the mobile hotspot offer, and the user will be sent a message to subscribe.
The limited-time promotion allows 4G LTE Verizon smartphone users unlimited 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot and Mobile Broadband Connect
usage until July 6, 2011, with the purchase of a ThunderBolt by HTC, a
DROID Charge by Samsung, or a Revolution by LG, with a voice plan and a
data package $29.99 or higher.
It's hard to decide which of the Verizon Awesome 4-G Threesome to buy, so we made a chart and dared to compare the LG Revolution vs Samsung Droid Charge vs HTC ThunderBolt.
