Virgin's Motorola Triumph mini-Droid with Virgin Mobile Life

motorolatriumph.jpgVirgin Mobile users will have another Android choice - the Motorola Triumph - with a 4.1" touchscreen running Android 2.2 Froyo and the Virgin Mobile Life app preloaded.  Reviewers are saying that it looks like a mini-Droid.

The Motorola Triumph features include a 1GHz processor, 2GB of on-board storage, a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, aGPS, Wi-Fi, microSD, a 1400mAh battery and HDMI output from the WVGA ((800x480) display.  Data access is through Sprint's 3G network.

The Motorola Triumph can capture 720p video and play 1080p video.  The case is coated with a soft rubbery material.

The Motorola Triumph is designed for customers who are more interested in messaging, social networking and data.  The price and release date have not been set yet.
Virgin Mobile Live 2.0 is a social networking music app with free access to the Virgin music stream hosted by DJ Abbey Braden, as well as live music
performance videos, and "check in" features at special events.  All
status updates in the app will also sync with Facebook and
Twitter.
