On June 14, U.S. Cellular will start selling the HTC 7 Pro, its first
Windows 7 smartphone, for $199.99 after a $100
mail-in rebate along with a data plan purchase.
The HTC 7 Pro features a 1GHz processor, Windows Phone OS 7, digital
compass, 8GB storage on board, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 1500mAh battery, and a 5.0-megapixel, autofocus camera with flash. Gaming
enthusiasts can score big with the Xbox LIVE integration, built-in FM radio and access to NetFlix and Zune.
The HTC 7 Pro is integrated with Microsoft Office, and users can view, edit, share and sync Office
documents. HTC 7 Pro's 3.6-inch tilted touchscreen and slide out QWERTY
keyboard can be used for texting and emailing.
Purchase of a data
plan is required, and a new two-year agreement and activation fee may
apply.
