While Americans wait for the dual-core 4.3" Samsung Galaxy S II, known as the Attain, Within and Function, to be released in the United States and the 4.5" Droid Bionic, Samsung has even bigger smartphones up its sleeves.

Samsung reportedly will introduce the Samsung Galaxy Q with a 5.3" touchscreen.  Currently, the largest Samsung smartphone in the United States is the Samsung Infuse 4G with a 4.5" touchscreen.

A Chinese news source, News Tomato, reported that Samsung Galaxy Q will have a 5.3" Super AMOLED touchscreen and will be shown in September in Berlin at the IFA.  Such a big screen would make it almost as large as a face.

The Samsung Galaxy Q is expected to have the WCDMA 3G mobile communication method as well as the 4G LTE version.  We also suspect that it will have a very fast dual-core process and may be as high as 1.5GHz like the Samsung Prime.

The Samsung Galaxy Q is supposedly for people who use their smartphone for navigation, gaming, and viewing video more easily.

The Dell Streak was referred to as a tablet - not a smartphone - and has a 5" touchscreen with an AT&T radio, but it didn't really take off.

The larger the screen, the faster the processor, the hotter the device and greater use of battery juice.  The Samsung Galaxy Q surely will be a hot smartphone and may also be a hot seller too.

Mae West might say, "Is that Samsung Galaxy Q in your pants, or are you just happy to see me?"
