AT&T is getting ready for the launch of the LG Thrill 4G by displaying ads on Wireless and Mobile news as well as showing promotions, such as a Jane's Addiction concert where attendees will record in 3D on July 25.
One news source reported "Jane's Addiction will perform live as part of the launch event for the
new LG Thrill 4G hosted by LG on July 25. As the band will
perform for the private event, fans in attendance will capture footage
of the performance using the dual-lenses Thrill 4G."
The information in the ad states:
"LG is teaming up with Jane's Addiction to create the first ever user-generated 3D concert. We'll let fans in the audience record the show in jaw-dropping 3D with the dual-lens 5MP stereoscopic camera on the LG Thrill 4G.
"You will not need 3D to watch on the Thrill, but you need them to watch on your computer."
Mmmmm, which means the LG Thrill 4G should be out by August 4th or maybe by July 25. In order for the audience to record the concert, they will need LG Thrill 4G.. AT&T release dates are usually on Sundays, and July 24 is a Sunday. Previous leaks suggested a July release date.
When you search for the term "LG", cases are showing available from online retailers.
The LG Thrill 4G is almost the same as the LG Optimus 3D except for the back cover, and it comes with 3D games, such as "Let's Golf 2" and "NOVA," the Gameloft 3D store, as well as YouTube 3D and 3D movies from mSpot.
LG Thrill 4G also allows you to record 3D photos and videos with 5-megapixel dual-cameras with added video stabilization technology that will correct any shaking during recording. Specs of the LG Thrill 4G include a 1GHz dual-core, dual-channel RAM processor, 16GB of memory (8GB on board plus an 8GB microSD card), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
