Droid Bionic News: Droid Bionic Release Date Testing & On Track Says VZW

Droid Bionic.JPGMost recent rumors suggest a July 28 or August 4 release date for the Droid Bionic.  Droid fan frenzy is growing with many news websites reporting a release date soon, while Verizon Wireless reports its on track for summer when testing is completed.

News Factor Network reported that Verizon is getting ready for the Droid Bionic release date.  Verizon Wireless spokeswoman Brenda Raney would not comment on the
supposed release date to News Factor but said that the Bionic would be released when testing
is complete, and customers can sign up for updates via Verizon's Website.

Computer World reported that Motorola did not respond Thursday to questions about a Droid Bionic release date.  Brenda Raney told Computer World via email, "We don't have an availability date but are
on track for this summer."  She said that ads, like the leaked Best Buy ad, are
not yet available to the public.

The Christian Science Monitor put it this way, the Droid Bionic looks to be locked for launch and could hit as soon as August.
Recently, a Best Buy ad surfaced showing HDMI mirroring, a dual-core processor, video chat and wireless data transfer.

FCC documents showed that the Droid Bionic is not going to be a world global smartphone.
