To update our Droid Bionic article published this afternoon. Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha confirmed to CNET that the Droid Bionic will be released
in September. The delay is due to 4G LTE connectivity issues.
Jha also said that Motorola will release two new 4G LTE tablets including the 4G LTE update for the Motorola Xoom in September. Motorola will launch a 10.1" and 7" tablet.
"We want to compete," Jha said. "We think we have competitive products
in the marketplace, and we've got good design wins in the U.S."
Jha said Motorola tablets will improve the experience of watching media, browsing the Internet, and using enterprise applications.
He reported that the sell-through rate of the Motorola Xoom was good. Sales have increased after the price of the Motorola Xoom was lowered.
