The Droid Bionic should be released soon since there has been evidence suggesting that the August 4 release date is true. There is a photo of a Verizon display for a new Droid smartphone and accessories appearing on Amazon.com. There is an FCC filing from June 23 (IHDT56MX1) that will release the confidential documents, such as the user manual on August 7.
The display from a Verizon store space shows a 4.3-inch touchscreen. The Amazon.com Droid Bionic car dock and desktop dock items and descriptions have been removed. The item listings revealed few details except for an 8MP camera, curved back and HDMI port.
Yesterday, a Netflix announcement showed support for the Droid Bionic, leading to the assumption that the Droid Bionic would have Texas Instruments OMAP processor that supports Netflix secure HD. Then Droid Bionic was later removed from the Netflix list.
