Strategy Analytics reported that Samsung is now the second worldwide smartphone maker after Apple's iPhone. They contend that the growth is due to the super popular Samsung Galaxy S II.
Strategy Analytics estimated that Samsung shipped 74 million total phones in the quarter, up 16 percent from the 63.8 million it shipped last year.
