Samsung Galaxy S II News: New Samsung Galaxy 3D Smartphone FCCed?

Samsung galaxy 3D FCC.JPGOn the heels of the sign-up page yesterday, for the Samsung Galaxy S II in the United States, a new model of the Samsung Galaxy series was filed with the FCC.  The drawings look  like the drawings for the Samsung Galaxy S II Within SPH-D710, that were filed with the FCC, earlier this week. However, some features are different Samsung Galaxy S II.

The Samsung i777, has NFC and uses 850 / 1900 bands in the WCDMA / HSPA, making it a candidate for AT&T.

This model has a 1500mAh battery, unlike the Galaxy S II's 1650 mAh battery.  The SGH-I777 has a mysterious button near the top of its
left side which could be war screenlock or or maybe even 3D camera adjustments.

Some bloggers believe that this model is the Samsung Galaxy 3D, that has many of the same features as the Samsung Galaxy S II, with the addition of 3D photos and video recording.

Whatever it is, we know that usually about a month after FCC filing the smartphone has an official release date.  Unless there are network problems or delays from the manufacturer.

AT&T customers will be getting an other 3D camera smartphone the LG Thrill 4G which is expected to go on presale August 1, and be available on August 8.
