Today, there is another leaked photo showing what some believe is the Samsung Galaxy S II for Sprint. The photo shows Sprint and Samsung logos along with an 8-megapixel camera.
The backing material has a texture, and the camera looks like other Samsung Galaxy S II models. The smartphone is expected to be called the Samsung Galaxy S II Within on Sprint, runs Android 2.3.4 and has operational Google Chat.
There was also a leaked photo, today, of a Samsung smartphone that some think is the Samsung Galaxy S II Function for Verizon with 4G LTE access.
Because Canada has just launched the Samsung Galaxy S II, U.S. Trademarks (Attain, Function, and Within) have been filed. FCC documents have also been filed, and there have been more leaks. There should be a release date soon.
How soon will it be released? We don't know yet. We do know that, when the Samsung Galaxy S II launches in the United States, it will be very popular.
Announced features of the Samsung Galaxy S II are
the 4.3" Super AMOLED touchscreen, which is very vivid, and a dual-core processor. Specs include a 1GB RAM on
board, 16GB/32G
MicroSD (up to 32GB), A-GPS, DLNA AllShare, better battery life,
voice commands,
NFC, an 8MP camera/camcorder (1080 HD), and special Samsung TouchWhiz UI features.
