Samsung Galaxy S II News: Samsung Attain Attains HSPA (4G), July or August Release Date?

When we examined the usual timelines between FCC approval and release dates, such as we did for the Droid Bionic, the Samsung Galaxy S II Attain could have a late July or early August release date.

The Samsung Model GT-I9103 records have most of the information hidden under a confidentiality request.  A previous Samsung model did not support AT&T's HSPA, but this model does.  The filing also shows Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
 
Reviewers of Samsung Galaxy S II are calling it the
iPhone rival and giving it Editor's Choice Awards.  In other countries, the model is outselling the iPhone.
The features of the Samsung Galaxy S II are
the 4.3" Super AMOLED touchscreen, that is very vivid, and a dual-core processor.  Specs include a 1GB RAM on
board, 16GB/32G
MicroSD (up to 32GB), A-GPS, DLNA AllShare, better battery life,
voice commands,
NFC, an 8MP camera/camcorder (1080 HD), and special Samsung TouchWhiz UI features.

Samsung media features are the Social Hub, Readers Hub, Game Hub and
Music Hub.  A new feature is Kies air for transferring files over Wi-Fi.

Last year, the Samsung Galaxy S releases started in July, with the Samsung Captivate on July 18 from AT&T.
