The latest version of Android 3.2 Honeycomb is being pushed out to Xoom Wi-Fi owners today.
The Motorola Xoom update is Build Number HTJ85B and includes application zooming (Xooming) and SD card support. The app zooming features allows apps that are not made for the large Xoom tablet screen to zoom to fill the screen. The graphics may, however, look pixelated if designed for a smaller Android screen.
The Xoom Wi-Fi update includes glitch fixes and better hardware acceleration. The Movie Studio, Movies and Music apps
will all be updated, and the factory widgets are redesigned.
The Honeycomb 3.1 update enabled you to "check now" for updates.
So for those who are awaiting updates, you can now tap the "check now" button until your Xoom
finds an update.
Today we received an email from Woot stating that the Woot for the day was a Xoom Wi-Fi for $399 plus $5 shipping. It is, however, a refurbished Xoom Wi-Fi.
There is no word yet on when the Verizon Motorola Xoom will be updated, which we suspect should be soon.
