The most buzzed smartphone of all time is definitely Apple's iPhone. The most coveted feature of a new iPhone would be faster data access. Everyone wants to know will the iPhone 5 have 4G LTE. So far no carrier or smartphone maker has been able to supply the battery size needed for 4G LTE along with a super powerful processor, such as the dual-core processor the Droid Bionic that Motorola promised will be released in September.
Some rumors surfaced yesterday that there was an iPhone being tested that had 4G LTE access. The problem with that is that the AT&T 4G LTE network is not completely deployed. Today, Engadget showed a photo of a AT&T 4G LTE equipment installed in an Apple Store.
The report says that the device supports the 700MHz bandwidth, the spectrum AT&T intends to use for data after the merger with T-Mobile.
The particular Apple Store where the device is located also is increasing its staff by 30%. This is where the iPhone rumors will explode. It's not more staff for the holiday season but for the iPhone launch and via extrapolation the iPhone 5 will have 4G LTE.
Calm down rumor mongers. there are many reasons why an Apple store
would install a 4G LTE transmitter. Apple or AT&T could be testing
it. We will never know because now the anonymous source has asked the
photograph to be removed. However, are you licking what's going on the
photo has been copied and can still be seen.
The latest iPhone
rumor from MacRumors shnwed headphone jacks in black and white,
suggesting that the iPhone five will also be a black-and-white. The
Droid Bionic most likely will not come in the color white.
Okay so here we go back to the Apple iPhone 5 versus Google Android Driod Bionic.
Since
Google bought Motorola yesterday, we can be pretty sure that the now
famous Motorola delay of the Droid Bionic may be the last major delayed
device from Motorola. Hopefully having Google support of the android
operating system on the next Droid line of smartphones will speed up the
process.
There have not been many new Droid Bionic rumors, today, except that we know the data speeds are going to be very fast. Yesterday, Motorola updated its Droid Bionic information page.
The iPhone 5 probably will not come out until October about a month after the Droid Bionic.
Update 8/16 2:13PM: The latest rumor is that the iPhone 5 will have a September 30 presale date and possible October 7 release date.
We already know that the Droid Bionic has been showed to have great battery life and incredible data speeds. The Droid Bionic going to be a bit more clunkier and heavier than the iPhone 5 and most likely will have a bigger screen and ability to view Netflix.
In every single Apple design, it is always light and sleek. when the original iPhone was launched, it only had slowed data access, because Steve Jobs did not want any problems. Another thing that Apple never does is release something that could have any problems at all.
So as the end of the summer heats up, you can relax and choose your smartphone according to your needs.
Even if there is a very, very, very slight chance that the iPhone 5 will have LTE access, the network is not ready yet. Also a majority of people choose their smartphone, according to the carrier they have contracts with.
Verizon has the iPhone 4 and definitely will have the Droid Bionic. those who bought the original Droid that are used to using android operating system probably will be happier with the Droid Bionic unless they want a keyboard.
