AT&T announced two devices and pricing for its new LTE data service. Data-only customers will get 5GB of data for $50, about the same as what Verizon charges for its LTE data options. Data overage will cost $10 per gigabyte.
The first two LTE devices will be the USB Connect Momentum 4G modem ($49.99) and the Mobile Hotspot Elevate 4G ($69.99) which are made by Sierra Wireless with an August 21 release date. Prices are after rebate and with a contract. Both devices will also be able to use AT&T's 4G/HSPA+ network.
AT&T's HSPA+ USB modem, the USBConnect Adrenaline
from LG, will be upgraded to LTE Aug. 26 via a software update.
