The September Best Buy buyers guide confirms the specs of the Droid Bionic coming from Verizon in the near future, with the most-likley release date of September 8.
The Best Buy flyer shows the Droid Bionic to be "Coming Soon" with 4G LTE, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 1GHz dual core processor, 8MP-camea, HD video recording, microSD, stereo Bluetooth , and memory expandable up to 32 GB. The comparison chart does not show the price, yet.
Best Buy does not require, mail in rebates. Although appearing in a Best Buy magazine is a good news and that it needs a release date is coming soon, in the past, the HTC ThunderBolt showed up at a Best Buy circular but did not go on sale for weeks later.
The Droid Bionic has garnered a lot of buzz because it will be the only dual-core processor smart phone with Verizon's 4G LTE access. This honor may only be available for a short time because there are more powerful smartphones coming to be Verizon lineup in the fall most notably the Samsung Stratosphere, HTC Vigor (1.5GHz dual-core HTC ThunderBolt successor) and maybe the iPhone 5 at AT&T.
