It looks like the Droid Bionic will finally see the light of the release date, soon with accessories and a webstore front (which is now gone).
The official Droid Bionic Twitter confirmed that the Droid Bionic will have a September 8, release date by tweeting "On September 8th 2011, the Motorola Droid Bionic will be in your hands." The Twitter account later confirmed, "No preorders yet. The wait is almost over." On Monday, the account was proven to be bogus by Sascha Segan.
Leaked documents show new Droid Bionic accessories including the a WebTop adapter, HD station/dock and Motorola Lapdock. The webstore confirmed Droid Bionic specs.
They released and then removed webstore for the Droid Bionc showed that the Droid Bionic slightly thicker than the Droid X . Spec for the Droid Bionic by Motorola, item number MOTXT865 were showed to be:
- 4G LTE speed and dual core 1GHz processor.
- Multitask and use large screen and keyboard with Web top app.
- Watch streaming video on 4.3" qHD screen or record in 1080p HD.
The Webtop Adapter connects to Bionic's HDMI and micro USB port, and then running an HDMI cable from it to a TV or monitor.
