When the Droid Incredible was released, it sold out quickly and was the most popular smartphone of the spring and summer last year.
AT&T is only upgrading it's Android smartphones to Android 2.3 Gingerbread that were released in 2011. Verizon Wireless is supporting last year Android models and will be upgrading the Droid Incredible by HTC to Android 2.3 Gingerbread reportedly starting tomorrow.
We called Verizon spokesman Albert Aydin to check on the exact expected update date. He said that the update will coming soon and he will have an exact date for us tomorrow.
Along with glitch fixes, users will be able to send MMS correctly, save audio MMS messages, send Vcard via SMS, connect to the Internet with Bluetooth and operate Verizon navigator over Wi-Fi.
Other features of the update include the ability to change songs in the Music widget by tapping the forward button and the camera will work successfully without inserting SD card.

with the addition of download manager, active app management,
shortcuts, one-touch copy/paste, widgets, icons, app groups, updated
calendar options, camera geotagging, improved email synching, and camera
