HTC is very poetic when naming its smartphones, the HTC Bliss is geared for women, the HTC Vigor will be the vigorous super descendant of the HTC ThunderBolt, now it looks as though there'll be more love and verse coming from HTC.
New trademarks were filed for the HTC Enamor and HTC Rhyme. For those of you are not enamored with etymology enamor means to inflame with love. We're wondering if someone buying of smartphone would prefer feel enamor or bliss.
It's hard to tell what these HTC smartphones would be like by that name. By using names to evoke feelings, it is not clear how the name relates to the product. It does however make you feel warm and fuzzy.
Earlier this year, HTC filed trademarks for:
- HTC Equalize.
- HTC Port.
- HTC Rift.
- HTC Cobalt.
- HTC Vivid. device only Trademark.
- HTC Pro.
Also on the horizon is the HTC Puccini a 10" tablet with a stylus from AT&T.
The naming scheme was revealed Samsung phones. Samsung will continue
with Samsung Galaxy S brand followed by other letters Premium - "R"
(Royal, refined), High-Tier - "W" (Wonder), Mid-Tier "M" (Magical) and
Entry level - "Y" (Young minded). HTC on the other hand has a whole different naming system.
