Hurricane Irene Postpones Samsung Galaxy S II Event a Day Later

Samsung has postponed the announcement event scheduled for tomorrow August 29 in New York City due to hurricane Irene until Augst 20.

We were hoping that Samsung would let Americans know when they can expect the Samsung Galaxy S II smartphones in the United Statees.

If weather continues to be a problem in New York City there is no way of telling when or how the Samsung Galaxy S II will be announced in the United States.

There were no weather problems in Korea, where Samsung announced the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE and Samsung Galaxy Tab LTE.

The Samsung Galaxy S II was touted as a bigger than Buddha, Jesus and the Statue of Liberty in a promotional video with email tips demoed in another video.  Maybe those who want the Samsung Galaxy should pray to the smartphone with "millions of devoted followers" to keep them safe from Hurricane Irene.
