Sprint and Motorola started rolling out an update for the Motorola Photon 4G that fixes the call muting glitch and enhances features.
Enhancements found in software version 4.5.1A-1SUN-1545:
- Improvements to voice calling to eliminate inadvertent voice calls defaulting to mute.
- Improve stability, resulting in fewer occurrences of unresponsiveness.
- Bluetooth support for mono headsets with the Sprint Visual Voicemail application.
Motorola Photon 4G owners will receive a notification for the wake-up-over-the-air update. You should make sure that your phone is at least 50% charged and you backup your data first.
You can check to see if the update is available by tapping Settings icon in the main menu, tap "About phone" and tap "System updates".
Reviewers of the Motorola Photon 4G raved about its power, great
audio/video playing, excellent call quality, global voice/data roaming,
touchscreen, media dock, HDMI mirroring to HDTV and fast data speeds.
