The Wall Street Journal reported that Verizon will not be selling a Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone. T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint will be selling Samsung Galaxy S II models in September that will be announced on August 29 in New York.
According to previous reports, , the next Samsung Galaxy S II from Sprint will be named the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch. The T-Mobile version may be named the Samsung Hercules. The AT&T model may be named the Samsung Attain.
It was then reported that Verizon Wireless will soon launch a Samsung device with very similar
specifications to the series but it just
won't be a "GALAXY S II" phone.
We think that the new smartphone may be the Samsung Stratosphere with a September 8 release date.
Samsung recently released a video on YouTube comparing the Samsung Galaxy S II series too many cultural icons including Buddha, Jesus Christ and the Statue of Liberty.
