There have been some news newsworthy FCC filings this week. The most interesting are the - Samsung GT-I8150 Galaxy W, Samsung SGH-T989 Hercules and Samsung Galaxy S II. It is usually about a month after FCC approval that there is a solid release date.
The Samsung Hercules T989 is the Samsung Hercules from T-Mobile. It will have NFC support
The Samsung I927, the AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy S II could be named the Samsung Attain.
The Samsung Galaxy W, also found it's way trough the FCC. The Samsung Galaxy W features a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen, a
1.4GHz processor, 5MP camera, 14.4Mbps HDSPA connectivity, Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth and comes loaded Samsung games, social and media hubs. The "W" stands for "Wonder" and is considered mid-price and mid range.
Verizon will not be selling a
Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone. T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint will be
selling Samsung Galaxy S II models in September that will be announced
on August 29 in New York.
Samsung recently released a video on YouTube comparing the Samsung Galaxy S II series too many cultural icons including Buddha, Jesus Christ and the Statue of Liberty.
