Hercules was a big, fast and powerful god, the Samsung Hercules is expected to be a big, fast, super powerful smartphone from T-Mobile with a possible September 21 release date.
T-Mobile offers HSPA+ speeds of as fast as 42Mbps down for data modems but not yet on smartphones. The Samsung Hercules is believed to be the first smartphone from T-Mobile with HSPA+ and Samsung Galaxy S II features with an even bigger touchscreen.
TmoNews played a guess the release date game with a leaked document showing just numbers and not models with release dates, which in turn was turned into a September 21 release date for the Samsung Hercules. As we noted in both an iPhone 5 and Droid Bionic release date articles, the release-date game is getting ridiculous. It almost seems like it would just be easier to just make up release dates that to try to figure out the exact release date.
However, the Samsung Hercules whenever it is released looks like it's going to be a great, big fast and powerful god of a smartphone.
Speculated specs of the Samsung Hercules include, Android 2.3 Gingerbread , a 4.5" 480 x 800 Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen, Category 24 HSDPA (42Mbps) / Category 6 HSUPA (5.76Mbps) connectivity, 16GB ROM, 1GB
RAM, NFC suport and an external microSD for up to 32GB.
