The Sprint Samsung Epic 4G Touch that was originally scheduled to launch today, has been delayed due to hurricane Irene in New York. However, PocketNow was able to get a press photo of the new Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone from Sprint.
The press photo reveals an 8MP camera as well has the Sprint logo on the backside. It was previously reported that the Samsung Epic 4G Touch would have WiMAX connectivity and replace the Samsung Epic 4G.

The Samsung Galaxy S II which was released all over the world, earlier this year and is late coming to the United States which is why Verizon reportedly will not be offering the Samsung Galaxy S II but the Samsung Droid Prime instead.
