Samsung Galaxy S II News: Samsung Epic 4G Touch (Sprint) Pictured

Samsung Epic 4G Toucn.JPGThe Sprint Samsung Epic 4G Touch that was originally scheduled to launch today, has been delayed due to hurricane Irene in New York.  However, PocketNow was able to get a press photo of the new Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone from Sprint.

The press photo reveals an 8MP camera as well has the Sprint logo on the backside. It was previously reported that the Samsung Epic 4G Touch would have WiMAX connectivity and replace the Samsung Epic 4G.

Yesterday, Samsung Korea announced a newer faster Samsung Galaxy S II LTE will be shown at IFA and ll have LTE
connectivity, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor running Android 2.3 and a
Super AMOLED touchscreen that has been increased to 4.5"  Features include
a 8MP pixel HD camera, up to 8 Wi-Fi hotspots, Social, Game, Reader and
Music Hubs,.

The Samsung Galaxy S II which was released all over the world, earlier this year and is late coming to the United States which is why Verizon reportedly will not be offering the Samsung Galaxy S II but the Samsung Droid Prime instead.
