Any moment now, in fact 6:00 pm EDT, there will be a Samsung Galaxy S II announcement coming from Samsung. We've been looking at sneak peeks of what will be seen today and it looks like the processor for this Samsung Galaxy S II will be increased to a 1.2GHz and the screen size increased.
When the Samsung Galaxy S II was first announced that Mobile World Congress it had a 1GHz daual-core processor. Tday, we have proved that the processor has been increased to 1.2GHz for the Sprint version of the Samsung Galaxy S II, the Samsung Epic 4G Touch.
The screen size has also been increased to a 4.52" Super AMOLED touchscreen. there's some new wording here that seems interesting it's called "Advanced Android" experience.
Along with a 8MP camera, the Samsung Epic 4G Touch will also have a textured back.
On Sunday,, Samsung Korea announced a newer faster Samsung Galaxy S II LTE will be shown at IFA and ll have LTE
connectivity, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor running Android 2.3 and a
Super AMOLED touchscreen that has been increased to 4.5" Features include
a 8MP pixel HD camera, up to 8 Wi-Fi hotspots, Social, Game, Reader and
Music Hubs,.
The Samsung Galaxy S II which was released all over the world, earlier
this year and is late coming to the United States which is why Verizon
reportedly will not be offering the Samsung Galaxy S II but the Samsung Droid Prime instead.
Other features of teh Samsung Galaxy S II expected are:
- 1GB RAM on
board. - 16GB/32G
MicroSD (up to 32GB). - A-GPS.
- DLNA AllShare.
- Better battery life.
- Voice commands.
- NFC.
- Samsung TouchWhiz UI features.
Samsung announced its naming scheme for its Galaxy smartphones and an Italian website leaked specs for forthcoming Samsung smartphones, including a 4.65" touchscreen model.
