A Korean website reported that Samsung will be making the Nexus Prime and parts are being ordered for the next Nexus pure Google experience smartphone.
Although Google recently bought Motorola, it appears that they had already forged a relationship with Samsung.
According to etnews, the Samsung Nexus Prime is expected to run Android Ice Cream Sandwich and have an October release date.
The Samsung Nexus Prime has a 4.5" HD(1280x720) Super AMOLED HD + touchscreen, dual-core processor, WiFi, Bluetooth, and more.
It may have 1GB of
RAM, 1080p HD video capture and playback, a front-facing
camera, and a 5-megapixel rear camera. It supposedly will be without hard buttons for navigation.
These specs are slightly more powerful than the Samsung Galaxy S II that has a 1.22GHz
Samsung Exynos 4210 dual-core processor.
We tried to see if the Nexus Prime is part of the leaked list of Samsung Galaxy smartphones published today and it appears that the Nexus Prime is not included in the list.
