- AT&T announced via its Twitter account that the LG Thrill 4G will have a September 4, release date. AT&T priced the dual-core smartphone at $99 but it has been discounted as low as $79.
- iPhone rumors suggest a new larger 4.2" touchscreen for the iPhone 5 or a smaller 3.5" inch touchscreen for the bargain iPhone 4. The glass case may be replaced with metal.
- HP TouchPad owners can now edit Microsoft Word and Excel files with the updated webOs version of QuickOffice HD, available in the webOS App Catalog.
