  • Mobile Eases Boredom Causes Frustration - Pew  reported that 42% of cell owners used their phone for entertainment when they were bored, 20% of cell owners experienced frustration because their phone was taking
    too long to download something; 16% had difficulty reading something on
    their phone because the screen was too small; and 10% had difficulty
    entering a lot of text on their phone.
  • 14 Million QR Scanners - A comScore study found that in June 2011, 14 million mobile users in the U.S., representing 6.2 percent of the total mobile audience,
  • Free Premium Kyocera Echo Apps -  Kyocera announced the
    availability of 12 free premium Android applications optimized for
    Kyocera Echo. The apps will be available for a limited
    time during Kyocera's "Summer of Free Apps."  Apps includie "Burn the Rope," "Sonic the
    Hedgehog" and "Super Monkey Ball," normally cost $.99 to $4.99 but are
    available for free for the first 10,000 combined downloads at Echo microsite - www.echobykyocera.com.
